The Big J.

I don't expect a lot of people to read this.

I judge a lot. I shouldn't, but I do.

I caught myself tonight Judging someone and it got me thinking (I think way too much). And I thought, "Why do we judge?" I'm not talking about people in general, I'm talking about Christians. We have all heard nearly our entire life that we shouldn't judge. In Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, He says, "Do not judge". Literally. He says that. Yet when we read on and He says, "For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged" we assume that some judgments are meant to be made. Why don't we take what Jesus says literally? What can be lost by judging no one? Now, I don't know the answers to any of these questions, but I heard a quote the other day by Ghandi. It said this, "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." That struck me, so I want to begin living like my Christ by taking what he says in Matthew 7 literally. I assume things will go well though it may be tough.

That is all for now.
